We planted sponge gourd.
The vege can be harvested when it is still green. It is well to stir fried with egg.
But, most of the time we let them further grow on the plant & wait till it turn light & brown.
It is how the natural sponge come from.
It meant to replace synthetic sponge
We applied in toilet washing / dish washing / body washing, sometimes we made as gift.
